1 The type of power supply and voltage are consistent with the motor nameplate power capacity and motor capacity and starting method is appropriate.

    2 is appropriate wire gauge, wiring for errors, whether or loose terminals, contact is good.

    3 switch and the capacity of the contactor is appropriate, whether the contact is clean, contact is good.

    4 Fuses and the rated current of the motor thermal relay capacity matches the thermal relay is reset.

    5 Crank flexible string should not exceed the specified.

    6 Check the motor lubrication system: oil meets the standards, whether the lack of oil phenomenon, not meet the requirements of the oil motor bearings, clean gasoline into the appropriate grades of grease specified amount; forced lubrication motor starting non-blocking former should also check the oil system, oil temperature is appropriate, cycle oil meets the requirements, after lubrication system normal trial operation before the starter motor.

    7 Check gear. The belt shall not be too loose or too tight, reliable connection, no laceration phenomenon, should be complete coupling screws and pins, tighten.

    8  Motor housing is grounded.

    9 Starter switch or handle has been placed in the starting position.

    10 Wound rotor motor Also check to mention brush device handle is in the starting position, the brush and collector ring contact is good, the brush pressure is normal.

    11 motor windings and white and ground insulation is good, whether the disconnection of each phase winding.

    12 Check the fastening screws (and legs, bearings, etc. screws) shall not be loose.

    13 ventilation system should be in good condition, ventilation and air filter and other components meet the requirements, well-ventilated, non-clogging.

    14 Check the rotating device guard and other security measures is good.

    15 around the motor should be clean, not allowed to stack other unrelated items, good start to prepare and inform other relevant personnel.

    Over the project does not always start must be itemized checks, but re-installed after the first starter motor (including the newly installed and overhaul) must be carefully examined.
