General Knowledge about the Examine and Repair of the Explosion-proof Motor1、The explosion-proof motor should not be disassembled at will; When it is disassembled for examine and repair, the explosion-proof surface of the part can not be used as the fulcrum of the crowbar, especially not allowed to be beat or strike. 2、When disassembling the motor, take off the wind shield and the fan first, then take off the bolts of the Endshield and the bearing cap. Next, impact the drive end (abbreviated D.E.) axial with round logs or copper sticks to separate the Endshield and the frame. At last, take off the rotor. When parts disassembled, the explosion-proof surface should be put upwards and covered with rubber or cloth liner. Fasten the bolts and be careful not make spring gaskets lost. 3、When dipped into lacquer and assembled, clean the insulated paint and the dirt attached to the explosion-proof surface. We should use the hone but not any hard object like iron plates to grind the uneven place. 4、If the explosion-proof surface is damaged, it must be soldered with solder HISnPb58-2 and flux of 30% concentration of hydrochloric acid (for steel parts), or with the Sn-Zn solder containing 58~60% Zn and flux made of the 30% ammonium chloride, 70% zinc chloride mixed with 100 to 150 percent of water (for the cast iron parts). The combination of the solder and the parts must be firm, and burnish the raised place to the regular finish. 5、In order to prevent the explosion-proof from rusted, it should be coated in oil or the replacement-type anti-rust oil 204-1. |
